Hi,

I don't think I'm a good artist but here it goes:

I found the kde logo used in the kdm greeter (login screen) a bit 
old-fashioned. If I'm not mistaken this was even made before the KDE 2.0 
release. Take a look at the logo that we have:

Now, I made a new logo that looks much better to me. Take a look:
