This is the announcement for boson-0.4.
=================================

	Boson is a real-time strategy game, like Command&Conquer(tm) or
StarCraft(tm). It is designed to run on Unix (Linux) computers, uses the QT
Toolkit and the QwSpriteField library. A minimum of two players is
required, since there is no artificial intelligence (yet?). Boson is still in
very early development and not playable yet.

	Boson's Code and Graphics are published under the GNU General Public
License (GPL).

New name contest
===============
	We are looking for a new name for boson. If you have any idea, please
contact us at : orzel@yalbi.com ( or reply to this mail)

New in this version
===============

* Editor is fully usable and the file format is considered stable
-> you may make your own maps to play with

* handling of ressources : "oil" and "minerals"
->  you need to have enough of them to build whatever you want

* new ground tiles : grass_with_oil, water_with_oil.

* oil-harvesters are here and usable
-> you will actually gain oil-ressource by using them

* big explosion when something is destroyed :-)

* Themes red_human and blue_human have merged into "human", boson is now
handling the team-colorization itself.
-> boson-pics is less bloated

* speed improvements in theme loading : boson and editor should start a lot
faster.

* lot of internal changes on the core engine, and bug fixes, as usual.
