Announcement: KRN 0.6.9 (A.K.A the-release-I-kinda-promised-for-december)
=========================================================================

KRN 0.6.9, just uploaded to upload.kde.org, is the first really improved
KRN version that is more or less for general use in over a year.

Does it has problems: yes. Progress reporting is totally broken. Some
other minor issues, like article searching, don't work.

Is it improved: a lot. It's faster, leaner, nicer and more stable.

It's for Qt 1.44 and KDE 1.1.2, but it's possible that it may work with Qt
1.42 and KDE 1.1.0, for all I know.

Now, this is a BETA-ish release.
Most of it works most of the time. Some of it does not work at all.
But more things work in it than in 0.6.0, IMHO.

So, while you should use it at your own risk (and it will probably not do
nothing evil), maybe you should give it a try.

You can get it from somewhere in ftp.kde.org (and soon mirrors) and from:

http://devel-home.kde.org/~ralsina
http://ultra7.unl.edu.ar/krn

Enjoy and report bugs!
