Hi KDE-Enthusiasts,

Thanks to the excellent effort of the kde packagers new KDE-1.1 rpms for
Redhat are available. This update mainly fixes some security concerns.

>From the kde packagers:


(for RedHat 5.0, 5.1 and 5.2 )

Updated kdelibs-1.1-4rh5*.i386.rpm and kdebase-1.1-4rh5*.i386.rpm
rpm packages are now available at ftp.kde.org in
the /pub/kde/stable/1.1/distribution/rpm/RedHat-5*
directories .

kdelibs:
The publicized security patch for 
kdelibs/mediatool/connect.cpp is applied.

kdebase:
The kvt terminal program now runs suid root, and properly
makes the user its exclusive owner.   utmp/wtmp support
(for finger, who, etc) is now compiled into kvt.


updates for the RedHat 4.2 i386 rpms and the
Redhat 5.1/5.2 alpha rpms will be available soon.
