Here is a an improved RedHat 5.1 rpm
kdebase-1.0-4rh51.i386.rpm
to replace my earlier -2rh51 rpm.

It applies the patch that fixes the kcminfo
(linux processor info in control center) bug with
qt-1.40.   It also improves the instalation on
RH5.1 systems, so the path and KDEDIR get set
automatically, and provides post-installation
instructions in /usr/doc/kdebase-1.0.

Please move
kdebase-1.0-4rh51.i386.rpm
README-rh51-rpms
to
ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/latest/distribution/rpm/RedHat-5.1/i386/binary

(and delete kdebase-1.0-2rh51.i386.rpm, README-2rh51-rpms)
also move
kdebase-1.0-4rh51.src.rpm
to
ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/latest/distribution/rpm/RedHat-5.1/i386/src
