- DESCRIPTION :
Ktop brings together most of the features of "top", "pstree" and "xload". 
It provides a KDE oriented GUI for manipulating processes and getting 
information about your computer activity.

Ktop contains : 

- a processes list page (top approch) :

The processes list provides an ongoing look at processor activity in real
time.  It displays a listing of the most CPU-intensive tasks on the system and
can sort the tasks  by PID, Name, UserID, CPU usage, memory usage,... Using
the "right  button popup menu" you can send a signal to the seleted process.
The refresh rate  of the list is controled by a popup menu.

-a processes tree page (pstree approch) : 

The processes tree shows running processes as a tree initially rooted at
"init" (but  you can modify the root using the GUI).  The tree can be sorted
by proc. ID, proc. Name, or UserID. Using  the "right button popup menu" you
can send a signal to the seleted process.

- and a performance page (xload approch) :

The performance page displays a periodically updating histogram of the system
load  average. 

- NOTE :
This version is Linux oriented. 
It is based on the Linux' "/proc" filesystem semantic.

Many changes since version 0.4.3.
