Hi there,

due to limited bandwidth to ftp.kde.org many people complained about not
getting the moste recent Beta1-3 packages.

I would like to point you to

ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/Incoming/kde*

and it mirrors which contains all the most recent source and binary tar
files.

SRPM packages are available from

ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/contrib/SRPMS/kde*Beta1*.src.rpm

RPM packages for the Intel platform are available from

ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/contrib/i386/kde*Beta1*.i386.rpm

ftp.redhat.com is mirrored by a VERY high number of host worldwide.
 
On of the best connected mirrors (it is uptodate and fast) is

ftp://ftp.funet.fi/mirrors/ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/
