From kde-announce Fri Aug 22 15:17:56 1997 From: Christoph Neerfeld Date: Fri, 22 Aug 1997 15:17:56 +0000 To: kde-announce Subject: ANNOUNCE: klpq-0.2.0 X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-announce&m=88665502614203 Hi ! I have just uploaded a new version (v0.2.0) of klpq to ftp.kde.org in /pub/kde/apps/Incoming. I expect it will move to /pub/kde/unstable/apps/utils. What is klpq ------------ klpq is the port of a program called xlpq that I have written some months ago using xforms. It displays the entries in your print queue and you may delete entries or move them to the top of the queue. It is a frontend to lpq, lprm and lpc. Only standard BSD-lpd is supported. Klpq now uses ktablevw, a fine class written by a friendly KDE developer who's name I have forgotten. Please send me an email, so I can change this notice. ;-) Please note: Due to a bug in Qt 1.2 KProcess does not work correctly. That means that klpq will stop working after forking approximatly 250 subprocess. When this happens you have to restart klpq. So using the 'Auto' button is quite useless at the moment. I've been told that this is fixed in Qt 1.3. New --- - uses kprocess - uses ktablevw - uses ktoplevelwidget - uses template from kexample Regards. Chris.
