Hello,

        I am pleased to announce the availability of kscd-0.4, 
a simple cd player for KDE. 

Changes:
        o New installation script. Compilation should now be a snap 
          for non-programmers too.
        o Irix support
        o Solaris cdda support ( this took a while ;-) )

KSCD now supports the following platforms:

                      Linux 
                      FreeBSD 
                      NetBSD 
                      BSD386 
                      Sun 
                      Solaris (includeds cdda support )
                      HPUX 
                      SGI Irix  
                      Sony NEWS 
                      OSF/1 
                      Ultrix 

Due to the new installations script, with all its dozends of theoretical
configurations, I expect some  minor hickups on some platforms and for
some configurations. Even if kscd-0.4 doesn't give you any new features
I would love for you to test the installations script. In particular
would I love to hear from people with SGI Irix platforms and 
Solaris cdda audio. 

kscd has been uploaded to fiwi02 and should be available there soon.
