KPlayer is a KDE multimedia player based on MPlayer. With KPlayer you can easily play \
a wide variety of video and audio files and streams using a rich and friendly \
interface that follows KDE standards.

The new 0.6.1 version adds an option to control volume independently of other \
programs, mixer device and channel options for ALSA and OSS sound output, and also \
includes a fix to keep the system audio volume when starting up, a fix for various \
problems when coming back from full screen, and a few translation updates.

KPlayer is licensed under GPL.

KPlayer 0.6.1 is available for download at
http://kplayer.sourceforge.net/#downloads
