Description:
Video player plugin for Konqueror using MPlayer,
Xine or GStreamer. Like MPlayer, the Xine and
GStreamer backend are out-of-process players. So
it will not crash konqueror when Xine or GStreamer
crashes.
Also a simple tool for video playing and
recording. Supports many playlist formats,
including podcast RSS/Atom, plays all links
directly from the internet. Other specialties are
DVD, VCD and VDR support.

Changelog:
 Changes 0.9.1a to 0.9.1b:
- Fix for audio only plugin group for real
- Fix media:// url's
- Crash fix for SMIL when resolving multible url's
simultaneously
- Don't play exit animation if started with an url
- Fix for plugin w/ floating statusbar,wrong
parent was set
- Real plugin fix for 'controls=All', shouldn't
show video widget
- Support for
uimode/nolabels/nocontrols/showdisplay/showcontrols/showstatusbar
attributes for WMP's embedded object emulation
- Autohide controlpanel w/ 'Click to play' and
support for TARGET attribute for QT embedded
object emulation

Changes 0.9.2-pre1 to 0.9.2-pre2:
- All the 0.9.1b fixes
- Added RealPix support for SMIL animations

Compared with the KMPlayer-0.9.0c version, there
are improvements all over the place. Highlights
are XML export of playlist, shorter and cooler
begin/end animations, position and resizing
tweaks, network bandwidth settings,
playlist/infowindow/statusbar controls for plugin,
audio/subtitles within a stream support, playtime
timer added in statusbar and search feature for
playlist. Of course bug fixes, better support for
ASX and SMIL.

0.9.x versions are the begin of playlist support,
but trying very hard not to dublicate the ones
found in the audio players and kaffeine. Current
idea is using a subset of SMIL as a document
format. This means no list of playable entries,
but more like a presentation.
I'm open for ideas for a good editor :-).
