This is the fifth official release in the KDar-2.0 series.

KDar is a backup program for KDE. It is
based on Denis Corbin's libdar archiving library.

KDar-2.0.4 requires dar-2.2.x (libdar 3.0) and at least kde-3.3.x
(kde-3.4.0 recommended). Please report problems to the
kdar-users mailing list (kdar-users@lists.sourceforge.net).

Changes in KDar-2.0.4 (see Changelog for details):

 - Fix for bug#1171747: now user must specify the type of
encryption algorithm on an archive-by-archive basis. In the config
dialog, the encryption type must be set to "None" if the archive is
not encrypted, and it must be set to "Blowfish" if the archive is
encrypted. This only applies to reading archives. A future version
of KDar will handle this automatically...

 - Now the "Saving Extended Attributes for ..." message is
displayed on its own line in the progress dialog, instead of the
message window.

The KDar-2.0.4 source is available at
