I have released a new stable version of knoda.

Knoda is a database-frontend for Mysql, Postgresql, SQLite and ODBC. Besides
tables and queries knoda comprises forms and reports, which are scriptable via
Python.

The main new features:
==================

* Tab order in forms can be set now (menu: edit->tab order)
* buttons have new actions 'close_application' and 'open_file'
* a new runtime application "knoda-rt" added
* Bulgarian translation added (thanks to Roman Rachkov)
* forms named "Autoform" will be automatically opened when
  the database is opened
* The Python API improved a lot: the C++-API is
  fully opened to Python now
      * hk_visible: on_getfocus() ,on_loosefocus()
        and on_key()  actions added
      * hk_visible: set_tooltip(), tooltip() added
      * hk_button: open_view and
        close_application action added
      * hk_class.show_filedialog() added
      * hk_database  existing_form()
        and existing_report() added
      * hk_column: count() and sum() added
      * hk_class::show_filedialog() added
      * hk_database: new_dialogformvisible() added
      * hk_form: show_asdialog() added
* all windows remember their geometry

Bugfixes:
========

* better performance of grids in forms
* reports handles newlines correctly
* improved field name detection for conditions in combination with depending
  resultqueries
* sqlite drivers do not crash any more when a table with typeless columns is
  opened
* etc.

A new example database called "SOUTHSTORM" (available at
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=23940&package_id=141013)
shows how to extend Knoda using Python. If you want to learn more
about scripting knoda this database is a good starting point. You need sqlite3
(http://www.sqlite.org) to use the example database.

Regards

Horst
