I just wanted to let those interested know about the Krecipes 0.7 release.
With this release, we really focused on cleaning things up both
internally and for the user, and many long-standing bugs have been fixed.

Krecipes now loads sample recipes based on the language setting of the
user. This, of course, doesn't do Krecipes much good without recipes in
those other languages (currently we only ship English recipes). So please
send your favorite recipes (in the Krecipes format) to
mizunoami44@users.sf.net and we can include them in the next release.

Besides stability improvements, we've implemented these key features, many
of which were requested by our users:

-BETA support for PostgreSQL database backend
-Database to database transfer (Remote or local).
  -Support for grouping ingredients
  -Fine-tune shopping list
-Border options added to recipe display
-Autocomplete ingredients typed in the instructions
-Updated USDA data from SR16-1 to SR17 (released September, 2004)
-'Configure' options to disable particular backends
-Support for drag and drop where appropriate

I have to thank all our users who have helped to iron out the bugs and
point out areas that needed improvements. They have really helped this
app to become quite stable. The final 1.0 release is almost a reality.
This release even contains a complete handbook, put together by Colleen
Beamer (thank you!).

And final a note to those interested in storing a very large amount of
recipes in Krecipes. We realize Krecipes can become quite sluggish (or
unusable) at this point, and the key improvement planned for our next
release is to address this issue-- allowing Krecipes to scale to several
thousands of recipes.
