Hi folks,

This is an announcement for the third release in the 1.3 series of the KDE
Disk archiver (KDar). KDar is a GUI-based backup utility. See
http://kdar.sf.net for more info.

This release fixes 5 bugs. In particular, it fixes several serious
regressions in 1.3.1:
 - individual file and directory restoration works again.
 - the default archive directory is not set to "/".
 - export "dar" command bugs fixed. See the Changelog for details.

Please update KDar to 1.3.2! My apologies to those waiting so long for this
release. Many thanks to everyone who reported a bug or suggestion for
improvement. Look for your name in the "About KDar..." dialog.

Watch out for KDar version 2.0.0, coming soon. It will have a "cancel
operation" feature, and strong archive encryption. Feel free to try out
CVS.

The KDar-1.3.2 source is available at

http://sourceforge.net/projects/kdar

Cheers,
JB
