Hi,
well, first of all, thanks for the interest ;)

if you wish to write a proposal we can definitely use an hand here, we have a 
lot cooking at the moent.

This year we can definitely give a twist to it, to make it more interesting:
make plasmoids (either porting old c++ ones or adapting existing qml ones) 
work on Plasma2 (that means Qml2 and Qt5)
that in turn means helping shaping up the new workspace :)
