Bug ID: 308517
Severity: major
Version: 3.0
Priority: NOR
CC: active@kde.org
Assignee: notmart@gmail.com
Summary: Adding resources to or removing them from Activities
often does not get reflected in the Activity Screen
immediately
Classification: Unclassified
OS: other
Reporter: colomar@autistici.org
Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Component: Contour activity screen
Product: Active
When adding resources to or removing them from Activities (especially when
adding many resources at once), the Activity screen does not get updated until
after a reboot. Files shows the correct resources when filtering for Current
Activity, though.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Tap "Add Items"
2. Select 10 resources
3. Tap "Add Items"
OR
1. Select a resource on the Activity screen
2. Tap "Activities"
3. Tap "Current Activity"
Actual Results:
Chances are not all resources added are shown on the Activity screen and the
number is incorrect as well (or the disconnected resource is still shown and
the number is unchanged, respectively).
After a reboot, the Activity screen is updated correctly.
Expected Results:
All resources are shown and the number is correct.
This happens with an RC1 image with updates afterwards, so this might have been
caused by some problem that happened before release which still causes some
aftereffects. It would be helpful to try reproducing this with a fresh PA3
install.
