Bug ID: 300674
Severity: normal
Version: unspecified
Priority: NOR
Assignee: active@kde.org
Summary: Device Notifier does not work on Mer (x86)
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
Reporter: colomar@autistici.org
Hardware: Unlisted Binaries
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Component: General
Product: Active
The Device Notifier does not work on Mer (tested on x86). When I insert a
memory steck/card into USB port or card slot, nothhing happens.
The kernel does recognize them, though. I can mount them from the shell.
And it works well in Meego.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Insert a memory stick in the USB port or
2. Insert a memory card into the card slot
Actual Results:
Nothing happens
Expected Results:
Device Notifier recognizes the memory.
Happened on 2012-05-22-19-35-basyskom-plasma-active-devel-mer-usb-live.iso with
updates from today (05-26).
(Not sure if this belongs to Mer, to PA or to Plasma, so feel free to tell me
if this is the wrong product / bugtracker).
