hi all..

so i looked into the dreaded "i pressed the power button and then the whole 
thing just froze" problem and it seems i fixed it. :)

however, i don't feel comfortable backporting the fixes into the 4.7 branch of 
kde-workspace due to the nature of the changes. here, however, are the 
relevant git commit hashes (all in kde-workspace) which should be used to 
create a patch for the Plasma Active One packages:
