Or use: sudo apt-get install plasma-desktop from a terminal. Then just choose plasma from the login screen. It may be hidden under some button or gear icon or something that lets you select your desktop software when logging in. I am one who has not known where to go to try k d e yet.
I have ubuntu 20.04 on a drive.
It has gnome.
Could I add k d e, or must I install a k d e distro?
Also, for a total, is this desktop really ready yet?
Thank you for your patience and for any information.
