Are you reading our mailing list? I haven't seen any comments from any of you to Gunnar's mail to the list: http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-accessibility&m=104893825317128&w=2 I agree very much with Gunnar's suggestions. Regarding kmousetool: Jeff, there is now a freedesktop.org specification for system tray applications, so that systray applications can work under both KDE 3.1 and Gnome. http://www.freedesktop.org/standards/systemtray/systemtray-spec.html I think it would be really great if you could use this. The systray icon could have a menu containing "Start/Stop", "Configure" and "Quit". Calling kmousetool from the command line should open both the configure dialog and start the systray application. Regarding kmag: It would be nice if kmag would use an optional menu as described in the KDE style guide: http://developer.kde.org/documentation/standards/kde/style/basics/index.html Then it would be possible to put less buttons into the toolbar, making it easier to handle. A context menu for kmag might also be a good idea. How long do you think will it take to implement all of this?
