-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi! After several failing attemps, at last I managed to load the old version=20 of accessibility.kde.org into CVS. It should be shown on=20 http://accessibility.kde.org in a few hours, once the web server has been= =20 syncronized with CVS. For the web pages rewrite, I plan to introduce 5 sections: 1. Documentation of KDE accessibility features (keyboard features in kcontrol, using proklam, general FAQ) 2. Accessibility programs for KDE 3. Accessibility reports (program specific, or handicap specific) 4. Development information (accessibility programming HOWTO, concept papers for AT-SPI in KDE, KSpeech/Proklam documentation) 5. Links to other accessibility sites I will write a story for the dot very soon, once the first version of=20 http://accessibility.kde.org is online. This might help to get more=20 people involved. The topics of that story will be: 1. accessibility.kde.org resurrected 2. Great work going on with text-to-speach functionality 3. Concrete strategy for AT-SPI support to KDE will be discussed soon 4. Cooperation with Gnome Accessibility project 5. People needed for accessibility reports (e.g. keyboard navigatability=20 of all KDE programs) 6. warm invitation for everyone to join us Any ideas for the web site and the news story are very welcome. I would=20 also like to have some background information about all of us, in case=20 there is something interesting to tell for that dot story. Just tell me=20 on irc or send me a mail.
