The bug has been assigned to Matthias Hölzer-Klüpfel.

David, have you contacted him about this?

Matthias, is there a reason why the bug still exists? Is it fixed in 3.1
HEAD, or will you fix it, or should I forward this to kde-devel to ask
whether someone can tell me where to look for fixing this bug before 3.1
is out? (I have very few experience of KDE programming.)

The people currently working on KDE accessibility programs have very few
knowledge of other areas of KDE. We simply don't have enough KDE
knowledge to fix every accessibility bug we know of.

There is not much time left till KDE 3.1 is out, so I am not sure it will
be fixed till then - though it certainly should.

You are right - I use KDE 3.0.4, and it is still there.

This really needs to be fixed.
