I've sent a mail to the guy that made the plug in for konqueror to use 
Festival, telling him about Proklam, and he answered me saying that he would 
be happy to use Proklam API instead of Festival when Proklam reaches 
stability. (didn't seem intresting in helping with Proklam, something that 
would be usefull to make Festival work... I'm getting an error I don't know 
how to solve from Festival's library).

I didn't know of any other effors to make a library for speaking in KDE but I 
have to admit that I didn't look too hard. I'll gladly join Proklam with 
whatever else is done or be helped by others. :)
