There is an issue however whereby KDE will ignore the settings and force the
icons into a line (horizontal or vertical depending on Control Panel
settings). I know this happens on both Linux and FreeBSD and it has been
discussed on the developer list, but I have yet to see anybody take any
action to correct it.
