Hi,

I saw in the logs of cvsup.kde.org that some people with restrictive
firewalls on their side have problems with cvsup access.

The following should solve the problem:

CVSup gives you this:
Connected to cvsup.kde.org
Falling back to protocol version 15.1
Timed out waiting for connection from server

This is almost always caused by a restrictive firewall setup at the
client site. I would suggest adding "-P m" to your cvsup options
and trying again. That usually solves the problem. If it still
doesn't work, please read the discussion of firewalls in cvsup(1).

Thats all I got. We should add a tip on www.kde.org/cvsup.html, what
do you think ?

Regards

Micha
