if somebody wants to add a great feature to an existing application,
thereby making it bnot just usable but an essential desktop
application, then i humbly suggeast this: add search functionality to
kjots. this would produce a very useful flat-file database in which
one could take notes, quickly grab phone numbers, and so on, and then
very easily retrieve it later. the docs say that such a function was
hoped for in the future, but i'm not sure it's being maintained at
all. adding the search function would make it very much like the
late, lamented, dos version of the info select application.
