Subject:    Kppp and kppp.pid problem

Occasionally after using kppp (kde 1.1.2, kppp is whatever version
shipped w/1.1.2) I'll log out shut the machine down. Bring it back up
and it'll complain about there being a .pid file left over in the root
directory ( /root/.kde/share/apps/kppp to be exact). Anyone else seen
this ?  Thanks
