i notice that slashdot in its article covering the expo gives much info about 
gnome and barely mentions that kde was "also there"...of course, no mention 
is made of kde beating gnome for the award...nor of only kde 1.1.2 being 
judged rather than kde2...perhaps it's time for a few of those who've 
advocated better pr for kde to post a few polite replies on slashdot, 
correcting their obviously unintentional omission...
