Hi, all hard-working hackers ^_^
I have spent a lot of time in trying the combination of Qt/Embedded and KDE.
I know the FAQ of Qt/Embedded had said that it's is possible .
But I still meet a lot of problem in combining them.
1) The Qt/Embedded is qt2.2.0 beta 0 version and KDE is 1.9.2
Cause of the qt2.2.0beta0 , it needs one more package named kde-qt-addon to fix \
the original problem. I have successly compiled kde-supplies and kde-qt-addon ,but \
when I want to compile kdelibs , the problem appears. configure cant find out i \
have already installed kde-qt-addon. I tried to find out the problem from config.log \
and get some information as above:
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to \
`QPaintDevice::setX11Data(QPaintDeviceX11Data const *)'
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to `QGArray type_info \
node'
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to `QPixmap type_info \
function'
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to `QGDict type_info \
function'
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to `QGList type_info \
function'
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to `QGArray type_info \
function'
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to `QGDict type_info node'
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to `QScrollView type_info \
function'
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to `QScrollView type_info \
node'
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to `QObject type_info \
node'
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to `QPixmap type_info \
node'
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to `QObject type_info \
function'
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to `QGList type_info node'
/usr/local/kde/lib/libkde-qt-addon.so: undefined reference to \
`QWidget::x11Event(_XEvent *)'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
It never happened when I compile kde at X11 with qt2.2.0beta0 .
2) I have tried to make a cross complie to SA of Qt/Embedded .
But when I proceed to link the libqt.so , a "segment fault" appears !!
I dont know why it happened and how to solve it .
Maybe there are too many file link at the same time , but I dont have any way to \
solve it .
Thx a lot for reading the mail . I will be very appriciated if anyone can help me \
solve these probelm even just a hint ^_^ . Sincerely Bankle .
