Oliver,
Take a look at http://www.rpmdp.org/rpmbook/node17.html . Also, as Dep pointed
out to me, you can just rename /opt/kde /opt/kde1 . What I have done is create two
dirs, one named /opt/kde1 and one /opt/kde2 . Then in my home directory, I renamed
.kde and .kderc .kde1 and .kderc1, respectively. Then I created a small shell
script to create a symlink to those files when using KDE1, and to the kde2 files
when using KDE2 - which I'm about to try out.
