In Konsole (from 1.90 beta) you can have 'multiple terminals' in one window.

It's easy to create a new terminal simply by pressing the 'new' button.

Each terminal is represented by a button at the bottom of Konsole...(looks
like a 'taskbar'...very nice b.t.w.)  I suggest providing a right mouse button
menu for these buttons, containing at least a 'close' or 'exit' to remove the
specified terminal. I think this would be intuitive...
