I put together an Aqua-esque plugin for kwin (high-color).  I named it 
vitreus after the widget theme by Nytehorse at 
http://www.inficade.com/~nytehorse/aqua/ .  Most of the code is hacked 
straight out of ModernSystem and System by mosfet, many thanks there. 
If you have white/near-white colors for the title bar you should end up 
with something that looks a lot like Aqua.  The active titlebar buttons 
have their colors hard coded, but only in once place so it is not too 
hard to change them.
