there isn't a kde2 yet. there is only alpha software that will oneday 
in part be kde2.

if i were her, i'd be pretty cranky at a son who foists pre-bets 
software off on someone who doesn't even know what a cookie is. kde2 
at its current level of development is certainly *not* for such 
persons.
