find you mail files in windows.. they do not have an extension... they are 
just inbox, outbox, trash, etc.   The *.smn files are not needed.  Take 
this files and copy them to you netscape mail folder in linux.. usually 
/home/username/nsmail

now run netscape messenger..the folders should appear.
