Please note that this is not *intended* as an M$ bash, but it will sound
that way.
I *like* being able to choose what gets installed on my machines. M$
purchased Intuit (producer of TurboTax and Quicken software) and the next
revision of TurboTax removed my current browser and replaced it with IE4.0
whether I wanted it or not. *Despite the fact that I was running IE5.0*!!!
This is *not* user friendly. There was a button to allow me to select *not*
performing this amazing feat, but it was disabled. Give me the option to
choose, please. Otherwise it isn't user friendly, it is Big Brother taking
care of you -- in the worst way.
I wouldn't *mind* a GUI install, as long as the options remain ours to
select as we please.
In Harmony's Way, and In A Chord,
Tom :-})
