Hello everyone, this is my first post in this list !

I've a problem : I want to run a *file* in kfm using a given program.
This is supposed to be quite easy to do with KDE since one should just
create the file-type (*.kdelnk) in the $KDEDIR/share/mimelnk dir, and
create the program description in the $KDEDIR/share/applnk
directory. I did this with XMMS. But it doesn't work ! Well, actually
kfm takes into account my files in mimelnk/ (since the icon for
mp3's changed), but it doesn't take into account the program
description I created in the applnk/ directory... That's why I created
the xmms.kdelnk file in my home dir ~/.kde/share/applnk and in this
case it works. OK, fine, but I would like it to work for all users,
not only me... Does anybody know what I should do for this ?

Thank you very much,

Sacha
