Is this safe to do? I've had an ongoing problem with kppp not sending any
signal when I hit hang-up. (I've gotten some suggestions from the
maintainers which didn't help. Has anyone else dealt with this?) I've been
opening the terminal and sending "+++ath0" manually. I was reluctant to use
killall pppd because I was concerned about corrupting something, either on
my end or on the other end.
