Your link is to 'MAHOGANY' not  MAGELLAN. Mahogany is
written under gtk, it is a bit tricky to configure (still
can't figure out how pop3 works !!) but looks kind of OK

Magellan I believe is pure KDE ;-)   (somebody correct me if
I'm wrong)
