Ouch!! That was a nightmare for me some months ago... :(
You have to recompile the kernel to enable AHA1520 SCSI support. Once you've
done it you need a booting method that allows you to pass parameters to the
kernel at boot time (unless you want to write them every time you boot).
Kernel has a aha152x parameter for you to specify IRQ and IO addresses for
your card. Check the manpages for more information. I cannot help you
further right now (I'm at work, M$-Windows territory), but e-mail me if you
