If you're running RH, open a shell windown in TWM and run a program called
switchdesk. The rest should be self explanatory.

If it's not RedHat, I don't know the easy way.  You can always find the
relevant configuration file for xinit and do it manually.  I forget what
that file is called, but it's not to hard to figure out.
