The KDE Team tries to have a developers release
of KDE based on Qt2.0 out by the end of this summer.
Code named 'Krash' this should be KDE 1.89.
A stable KDE release based on Qt2.0 can be
expected in the first quarter of '00.
Code named 'Kopernicus' this will be KDE 2.0
A stable KDE release based on Qt1.4x will be
released next month. Code named 'Kolor', this
will be KDE 1.1.2.
Those who don't mind hacking a bit themselves
can of course always have a look at the
tgz-snapshots or follow KDE development from
day to day via CVSup.
KDE development has been based on beta versions
of Qt 2.0 for some time already. As of today
all development will be based on the released
version of Qt2.0.
Cheers,
Waldo Bastian
