Subject:    Does anyone have kde experience with the pgcc-1.1.1 compiler? (i686)

Hi,

I was experimenting with compiling kde-1.1 rpms on a Pentium II
(i686) using the pgcc-1.1.1 compiler, with
pgcc -O6 -march=pentiumpro
to see if any significant performance boost occurred.

The rpms built fine, but display of .gif files is broken.
Platform is RedHat 5.2 i386.  (egcs-1.0.3a i386 rpms work fine)


Has anyone come across this or found a fix?
