The KX form is mainly meant as internal description. A program like kedit for
example has an executable "kedit", but it should appear in the K-Menu as
"Editor", same with its titlebar. Or kpat which should show "Patience", etc.

If you find applications (and there are still many out there) that display
there k-name, consider this behaviour as bugs.

There might be exceptions, though. If the name is rather self describing, like
KLyX for example, the K-form is allowed. 

Anyways, itīs (as usual) the decision of the author(s) of each application.
