You can get KOffice via cvsup (look at the KDE web page, it is in their sample
cvsup script). I think it is also available via ftp in
/pub/kde/unstable/apps/office, but I haven't checked recently. I suggest using
cvsup, it is *easy* to install and much more convienent than patches when you
want to update.

As to wether you should install it or not, I would suggest looking at the
required software first and then making a decision. KOffice requires both egcs
and mico. And remember, this is alpha code. Don't expect to be able to use it
like Corel Office (yet ;-)
