Hi,

as quite some people asked me for it, I make available a patch for
kmail-1.0 to get support for pgp5.0. It changes/fixes the following:

* With this patch kmail is able to work aswell with pgp5.0 as with
  2.6.x. 
* It fixes the security problem of the old implementation which passed
  the passphrase in a not very secure way. This is relevant if you have
  a system with many users.
* There is better error checking while running pgp.

You can get the patch (or a patched source of kdenetwork) from
	ftp://xpc56.mpi-hd.mpg.de/pub/kde/pgp

This is an unofficial patch to kmail, so if you are using it, and
should encounter any problems/bugs, please do send them to me and not
to the kde buglist or one of the maintainers of kmail.
