Hi fellas,

tonight we'll upload a new version of kISDN to

        ftp://upload.kde.org/pub/kde/Incoming/

so it may be available soon at

        ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/unstable/apps/utils

and its mirrors. You might as well checkout the home of
kISDN at

        http://kisdn.headlight.de

to get additional information about this great tool (strongly
recommended). We will also provide RPM's (source/binary), but 
they may appear somewhat later (24 hours sounds reasonable).


What's new in 0.5.0 ?

        o Bug fixes (as usual ;)
        o Providers may now be chosen from the database,
	  choose your country, city and ISP (if someone
	  was so kind to submit the data), enter username
	  and password and - with a little luck - you're
	  done !
        o Channel bundling should work now 
          (thanks to Alain Degreffe)
        o i18n support for Italy (thanks to Luca Montecchiani)
        o i18n support for Norway (thanks to Arne Coucheron)
        o Detection of kernel 2.1.x definitely fixed
        o Support for the following ISDN adapters added:

          - Compaq ISDN S0 ISA card
          - Dr. Neuhaus Niccy PnP
          - Dr. Neuhaus Niccy PCI
          - NETjet PCI card

        o Try of a fix for T-Onliners: User names containing
          the special character '#' will automatically be
          quoted; please report, if kISDN can connect to
          your ISP now !
        o You may now turn on the 'secure' option of i4l
        o Some fixes on DoD, at least on standalone boxes
          there should be no problems anymore (forget
          about that ip-up/ip-down stuff, you can remove/
	  rename them for now)
        o Detection of 2.1.x is now definitely working
