Well, for me, the problem of cloning qt is whether it would
be fair to do so.  The most significant work was doing the
design of Qt IMHO.  So IF there is a chance of hurting Troll
Tech by this move, I'd strongly suggest not to do so.

However, if and only if you feel that the Troll's won't be affected,
or will possibly even benefit because even more projects will
use the API, yet professional users would still use the
official, supported version, count me in on it.

I've never seen the source code by the way, only browsed
the docs.
