For an ftp mirror contact: Martin Konold konold@kde.org
For an web mirror contact: Matt McLeod mjm@kde.org

As to icons and logo's -- there is always a demand for them.

Few of us have the talent for good graphics art. You could start by having a
look at the applications and see what they could need. There will be
an almost infinite demand for icons for kfm etc. The After-step project for
example has designed many icons for their use. I am sure we could use equally
as many in our own style. What is our own style? I don't know. Invent a style
and upload them. Again - if any of you out there feel that they could make
nice icons and logo's. Don't ask long for what we want, we don't know what we
want. There is not some sort of hidden hirarchy of people here who decide what
needs doing or what is good. It is everybody of you out there who can put
their mark on the kde project. If you see something that needs to be done, do
it, upload it, and if its any good it will catch on. That's how things work
here.

About documentation:
Someone needs to think about a unified approach to the online help and see
whether a solution can be found using sgml / linux-doc etc. The glint people
seem to be cooking something there. Check it out. See what can be done. There
are many questions which need to be addressed. Just let your mind wonder and
have a look at things and you will find many things that need improvement
or that haven't been addressed at all until now.

If you see a web page that out of date, just update it and submit it to Matt
etc. etc.

Again nobody can tell you exactly what need to be done. Who is to decide
anyways? Just pick something you think needs improving and do it.

( if its a bigger project, ask briefly on the list whether someone is already
doing something like that, so that you guys can coorporate and work is not
  needlessly dublicated or wasted)

Bernd
