When making the kdenetwork-971228 paket the following error message appears:
pppstatus.cpp: 60: net/ppp_defs.h: No such file or directory
make[2]: ***[pppstatus.o] Error 1
make[2] Leaving directory '/usr/src/kde/kdenetwork/kppp'
make[1]: ***[all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/usr/src/kde/kdenetwork'
make: ***[all-recursive-am] Error 2

I have suse 5.1
pppd is installed and working properly.
In /usr/include/net I missed the files ppp_defs.h and ppp.h
I copied them from the linux sources to /usr/include/net
Thereafter I had no problem in compiling and installing the snapshot.
